“For this reason also, since the day we heard this, we haven’t stopped praying for you. We are asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, so that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God,”
Colossians 1:9-10 CSB

The story of this ministry began in 2018 with a simple, personal desire: to cultivate a deeper relationship with God and a passion to help others do the same.
Walking with my Father was created to share mid-week devotionals as a way to encourage believers in their “walk” with the Lord. What started as a small step of obedience grew into a community of believers looking for more than just head knowledge—they were looking for relationship and a life lived in His presence.
-
In the Bible, the number eight represents new beginnings. In 2026, eight years since those first devotionals, that journey has evolved into Walk Worthy. The name is inspired by the Apostle Paul’s prayer in Colossians 1:9–10:
“...that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.”
Paul’s prayer reminds us that the Christian life is about more than just intellectual understanding; it is an invitation to true relationship. We believe there is a profound difference between simply knowing about God and intimately knowing Him.
Whether you are taking your very first step toward Jesus or have been following Him for decades, your faith isn’t a static destination. It is a daily, intentional walk, and there is always a deeper level of relationship to reach and a more fruitful life to live.

At Walk Worthy, our mission is to transform knowledge about God into the practice of living for God. We are dedicated to helping you:
Build a Real Relationship (v. 9): Move beyond head knowledge to truly know God’s heart and character in a personal, life-changing way.
Find Wisdom for Daily Life (v. 9): Learn how to apply the Bible to your actual life—your purpose, your relationships, and your decisions—with clarity and purpose.
Live with Intention (v. 10): Shape your daily habits and choices to honor God and reflect His love to the people around you.
Produce Lasting Fruit (v. 10): Live out the Great Commission by becoming a disciple who makes disciples, impacting others for eternity.
Keep Getting Closer (v. 10): Stay on a path of growth, knowing that there is always more of God’s goodness to discover.

Currently, the Walk Worthy Podcast serves as our primary gathering place, helping listeners move from "knowledge" to "practice" through the lens of Colossians 1:9–10. But we believe this is only the beginning.
As we continue to be led by the Holy Spirit, we are expectant for growth—expanding into new formats, resources, and spaces. We aren't just building a platform; we are an invitation to a life-long journey with God through Jesus Christ.
Let’s Walk Worthy, together.
