Episode 08: You Are Not Behind: Trusting God's Timing in Every Season of Life

Show Notes

Episode 08 | Season 01

Episode Summary

Have you ever looked at someone else's life and felt like you were falling behind? In this episode of the Walk Worthy Podcast, Asia dives into one of the most universal struggles believers face — the tension between what God has placed in your heart and what you can actually see in your current season.

Drawing from Ecclesiastes 3:1–11, Asia unpacks the God-ordained rhythm of seed time and harvest, and why the gap between the two is not a sign that something has gone wrong — but evidence that God planted eternity in your heart.

Whether you're in a quiet season of planting or beginning to see the fruit of your faithfulness, this episode will help you release the timeline you think you should be on and trust the One who is writing your story with eternity in mind.

You are not behind. You are not forgotten. You are right on time.

In This Episode, We Cover:

  • Beauty of the Process: Just like a floral arrangement, a beautiful life doesn't appear overnight. It requires being planted, cultivated, and cut at just the right time.

  • The "Olam" Tension: God has placed eternity (the Hebrew word olam) in our hearts. We often feel unsettled because we have an eternal perspective trapped in a temporary season.

  • Comparison is a Lie: Social media shows you everyone else's harvest while you might be in your seed season. Remember: you aren't in a race; you are in a story.

  • Seed Time vs. Harvest Time:

    • Seed Time requires faith, surrender, and preparation.

    • Harvest Time requires stewardship, gratitude, and the willingness to disciple others.

Scripture References:

  • Ecclesiastes 3:1–8 (CSB) — "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens."
