About the Walk Worthy Podcast
Whether you're taking your first step toward Jesus or have been following Him for decades, the Walk Worthy Podcast is an invitation to deepen your walk. We believe that faith isn’t a library of facts or a destination—it is a daily, intentional walk.
Hosted by Asia Hawkins, our mission is founded on the Apostle Paul’s prayer in Colossians 1:9–10: “...that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.”
Each episode dives into scriptural truth to help you:
Build a Real Relationship: Move beyond head knowledge to truly know God’s heart and character in a personal, life-changing way.
Find Wisdom for Daily Life: Learn how to apply the Bible to your life—your relationships, your job, and your decisions—with clarity and purpose.
Live with Intention: Shape your daily habits to honor God and reflect His love to those around you.
Keep Getting Closer: Stay on a path of growth, knowing there is always more of God to discover.
Let’s move from knowledge to practice. Let's Walk Worthy together.
Episode 18: Is the American Church Too Comfortable?
In this episode, I sit down with my pastor, Rev. Dr. Kwesi Kamau of Impact Church DFW, for a conversation on apologetics and the American church. We talk about why so many people are searching for something other than Jesus, how to reconcile a loving God with violence in the Old Testament, what the Bible actually says about alcohol and marijuana, why comfortable Christianity has taken over so many churches, and what real discipleship looks like. We close with what people misunderstand about their pastor and what it costs to lead.
Episode 17: Can God Trust You With Your Next Season?
In this episode, Asia unpacks what it takes for God to trust you with your next season — using the life of Abraham as the blueprint. From the promise given in Genesis 15 to its fulfillment 25 years later in Genesis 21, Abraham's story reveals three postures that positioned him to receive what God had spoken: his willingness to go, his willingness to wait, and his willingness to worship. Asia breaks down how obedience is the currency of the kingdom, and why the wait itself is often where God prepares us to steward what we've been asking for. If you're standing in a season of transition, believing God for a promotion, a relationship, or breakthrough that hasn't come yet, this episode will challenge you to grow in obedience so you're ready when it arrives.
Episode 16: What to Do When You Weren't the One They Chose
Rejection touches every one of us, whether it shows up in relationships, missed opportunities, or the quiet feeling of not measuring up. Left unaddressed, it distorts how we see ourselves and how we relate to God. This week, Asia turns to Leah's story in Genesis 29, a woman who wasn't the one Jacob chose. Leah spent years chasing approval through her sons, only to discover that validation was never going to come from a child, a marriage, or anyone's applause. Asia shares three practices that have helped her heal her own rejection wounds: prayer, trusting that God withholds no good thing, and learning to fall in love with the life she's actually living. If you've ever felt like the one who was passed over, this episode is for you. Your validation was never in the blessing.
Episode 15: When All Hell Breaks Loose: Praying Through Spiritual Warfare
This week's episode departs from the original plan. Asia shares an unfiltered look at the season of spiritual warfare she's currently walking through: back-to-back health issues, difficult lab results, and a months-long battle that's tested her patience and her faith.
Rather than staying in the struggle, she unpacks what God has revealed to her in prayer through Psalm 118:15, "There are sounds of joy and victory in the camp of the righteous." From that verse, she shares three keys to praying through spiritual warfare. If you've ever felt like everything is working against you while you're trying to walk closely with God, this episode is for you. Your sound precedes your victory.
Episode 14: Breaking Soul Ties: How to Recognize & Release Them
A follow-up to Episode 13 with Pastor Stacey Kelley Thompson — this week, Asia goes solo to unpack one of the questions that conversation opened but didn't fully answer: how do you actually recognize and release an unhealthy soul tie?
In this episode, Asia walks through what makes a soul connection healthy versus unhealthy, breaks down the story of Samson and Delilah as a case study in ignored warning signs, and shares the four-step prayer process she's personally used to walk in freedom from repeated relationship patterns — plus her own testimony of what it actually looks like when a soul tie is broken for good.
Episode 13: Hearing God Clearly Starts with a Healed Soul
Fresh off a trip and still processing everything God did, Asia shares an update from Mantle and what it's stirring up as she navigates ministry as a millennial. This episode moves through personal warfare, forgiveness, and the quiet, unglamorous work God does in the unknown seasons, then turns to what it actually looks like to lead in ministry with reliance, humility, and accountability rather than polish. It's a reminder that a year can hold more transformation than we expect, and that most of it happens off camera.
Episode 12: Ministry Isn't Perfect: My Mantle 2026 Life Update
Fresh off a trip and still processing everything God did, Asia shares an update from Mantle and what it's stirring up as she navigates ministry as a millennial. This episode moves through personal warfare, forgiveness, and the quiet, unglamorous work God does in the unknown seasons, then turns to what it actually looks like to lead in ministry with reliance, humility, and accountability rather than polish. It's a reminder that a year can hold more transformation than we expect, and that most of it happens off camera.
Episode 11: Wasting Time with God: My Realistic Morning Routine
Season 2 opens with a question most of us avoid asking honestly: how much time do we actually spend with God? Asia unpacks the idea of "wasting time with God," a phrase that reframes devotion not as a box to check but as the point of relationship itself. Drawing from a season of her own inconsistency turned intentionality, she shares the realistic (not perfect) morning routine that's shaped her walk, and makes the case that knowing God works the same way as knowing anyone else: through time, attention, and consistency, not performance.
Episode 10: Redefining Influence: How to Do "Greater Works" Than Jesus
In the Season 1 finale of the Walk Worthy Podcast, we’re tackling a statement that sounds almost impossible: Jesus’ promise that we would do "greater works" than Him.
In a culture that defines influence by metrics, aesthetics, and "Christian Influencer" branding, we’ve lost sight of the true commission. Asia dives into John 14:12 and Colossians 1:9-10 to reveal that kingdom influence isn't about the size of your platform—it's about the reach of the Gospel through your faithful, everyday walk.
Whether you’re a content creator or a corporate professional, this episode is a call to move from building an audience for yourself to bearing fruit for Christ.
Episode 09: Little Faith, Big God: Trusting God with the Impossible
Are you in a season where you're believing God for something that looks completely impossible? Maybe your mind is full of anxious thoughts about how everything will turn out, or you're in a season of transition and you're struggling to trust God with what comes next. In this episode of the Walk Worthy Podcast, Asia gets personal about her own season of transition and opens up about what it really looks like to have faith and trust God with the impossible.
Episode 08: You Are Not Behind: Trusting God's Timing in Every Season of Life
Have you ever looked at someone else's life and felt like you were falling behind? In this episode of the Walk Worthy Podcast, Asia dives into one of the most universal struggles believers face — the tension between what God has placed in your heart and what you can actually see in your current season.
Episode 07: How to Share Your Faith: Change Eternity Through Ordinary Moments
Is your faith a private secret or a public light? In this episode, Asia Hawkins explores how our everyday interactions hold the power to change heaven forever. Drawing inspiration from the "Apostle of Small Things," we dive into how ordinary moments can produce extraordinary eternal results.
Episode 06: The Questions We're Afraid to Ask: Faith, Doubt & Everyday Life
In this special mid-season Q&A episode, Asia Hawkins dives into the "honest questions"—the ones we often think about but rarely say out loud. From navigating deep grief and unanswered prayer to balancing professional ambition with a Godly calling, Asia explores how the Bible meets us in our most vulnerable moments. Whether you are feeling lonely in a crowd or struggling with a "dry" prayer life, this episode offers biblical wisdom and personal stories to help you continue to walk worthy.
Episode 05: True Christianity: How to Follow Jesus Beyond Politics and Religion
Is being a Christian about how you vote, where you stand on social issues, or the church denomination you belong to? In a world that constantly tries to put our faith in a box, it’s easy to let the "label" of Christianity drift away from the actual "Way" of Jesus. In today’s episode, Asia dives deep into what it truly means to be a follower of Christ beyond the noise of culture, media, and modern religion.
Drawing inspiration from the early church in the book of Acts, we explore how our faith was never meant to be a set of doctrines, but a transformative way of living. We discuss the powerful progression of discipleship: being with Jesus, becoming like Jesus, and doing what Jesus did.
Episode 04: The $300 Speeding Ticket: Lessons on Singleness & Trusting God's Timing
As February wraps up — the month of love and relationships — Asia gets honest about navigating singleness with God. This episode is raw, real, and grounded in biblical truth. Asia shares the lessons she’s learned in this season, exposes her mistakes (yes, including the $300 one), and invites every listener into a new perspective on singleness as a purposeful season with the Lord.
Episode 03: Honest Christian Chit-Chat: Purity, Spiritual Warfare, & Waiting on God
In this powerful follow-up to Episode 1 ("Is God Good When Life Isn't?"), Asia shares the long-awaited update regarding her medical report. This episode is an intimate "chit-chat" about what happens when the spirit realm meets the natural world.
Asia dives deep into her personal journey of receiving a prophetic warning through a dream, the reality of spiritual warfare during seasons of elevation, and the transformative power of "binding" yourself to God while you wait for an answer. Whether you are facing a health crisis, a season of transition, or questions about living a life of purity, this episode offers a roadmap for walking in freedom, hope, and a deeper knowledge of who God truly is.
Episode 02: How to Pray Bold Prayers
Have you ever felt like your prayers were hitting the ceiling? In this episode, Asia explores the transformative power of bold prayers. Drawing from her own experience and the wisdom of Scripture, she breaks down why bold prayers honor God and how you can transform your prayers from a place of doubt and uncertainty to faith and confidence. You’ll also learn the P.R.A.Y. acronym and receive a link to download a practical (and free!) guide to help you structure your conversations with God.
Episode 01: Is God Good When Life Isn’t?
In the first episode of the Walk Worthy Podcast, Asia dives deep into one of the hardest questions a believer can face: “God, if you are so good, why is this happening?” Sharing from her personal journey with an unexpected health scare, Asia explores the story of the raising of Lazarus in John 11 to uncover why God allows us to experience difficult seasons, the power of His timing, and how His glory is often revealed through our deepest pains.
